Looking for a good Twitter client for your Nokia non-smart phone? I've tested a number of J2ME clients with Nokia 6303 (S40 platform) and Sony Ericsson W800i, and found couple good. The first one is Twibble. It works great on both phones, and it's a peace of good software also. 5 EUR is the price.

(Twibble on Nokia 6303)

PavoMe

PavoMe is free, and bit more focused on multimedia (allows photo and sound recording and uploading).

(PavoMe on Sony Ericsson W800i)

PavoMe works better on contemporary mobiles with 320*240 displays. W800i is bit old for this app.

MTS and Megafon are deploying commercial 3G coverage in Moscow

http://twitpic.com/uzbw4 — SpeedTest using MTS 3G on MKAD.

Vobis Highscreen PP5420 is the first Android Phone available in Russia since July 04.
The model is available only from Vobis Computer. As noted in the review, Highscreen PP5420 – it’s a Mobinnova ІCE 5420 with Android firmware instead of Windows Mobile one. Vobis Computer has made a 100 piece of them as an experiment. Highscreen PP5420 has something they called a “developers firmaware”, so it has no Android market, Google accounts, and user must have a special skills to install additional software.

Mobile TeleSystems (NYSE:MBT) today announces the service test launch of its 3G network in Moscow, Russia.

In Moscow, the frequencies necessary for 3G technologies are used by the military, and MTS has faced problems rolling out 3G in Moscow in the past. Now the service test appeals to verify that MTS 3G network will not conflict with radio equipment used by special and military forces. MTS plans service test to be completed before August 1, 2009.

Nokia E66, E71 and 5800 screen size compared

Pictures demonstrate comparison of physical size of the screens.

Maybe I will be updating it with some funny stuff for mobile phones. I have no plans to pay for English proofreading for this site, so it will be in my not-so-good English. But, stay tuned: RSS feed! :-)

Not so long ago Vlad has notified me that he signed in with a mobile content provider, so I guess all of his great arts will be available through some service or WAP site soon. Please visit VladStudio.com for more information.
